1. questionnaire

Once you're done reviewing the process here, head over to the services page to fill out the questionnaire specific to your project type, if you haven't already. Or if you've sent us a comprehensive scope of work the questionnaire may not be necessary.

2. Free Consult

Next, schedule a free design consultation. You'll be able to ask any questions you have, go over the details of your project, and get to know each other. This may occur in person or over the phone.

3. Project Deposit

Once we've talked and you've decided you want to move forward, you'll need to pay a 30% deposit to secure your spot in our schedule. 50% of the remaining half is due at the start of the project, and the final 50% is due when the project is complete but before the final files are handed over.

4. SIGN CONTRACT

Both parties will need to sign a legally binding contract, which stipulates the pay schedule, terms of agreement, and protections for both parties.

If you have any questions or requests, please let us know via email or during the initial consultation.

5. MANAGEMENT

We use Asana to manage our projects. It's a simple tool that streamlines communication, and demystifies the process. We'll send you a simple how-to video to learn how you'll be using it with us. Till then feel free to check it out!

6. Homework

You'll need to fill a secret Pinterest board with inspiration, and answer an in-depth questionnaire (step 1). You'll also need to upload any pertinent files (images, logos, plans) to Asana. Once received, we will have a kick-off call or in-person meeting before the design work begins.

7. PHASE I

Conceptual design begins by CHD taking all of the homework + any other design parameters into consideration. Moodboards/Roomboards, color palettes, style, etc. will all be created at this stage.

8. PHASE II

The schematic design phase is where the structure begins to meet the design direction decided in Phase I. After this phase, the project work commences to bring the entire project together.

9. PHASE III

This is the last phase where all decisions made in Phase I & II culminate into a final web or branding product However, Interior Design & Architecture projects require a design development phase along with other subsequent phases depending on the scope of work. This phases will be discussed with you at the beginning of your project.

10. COMPLETION

Upon receipt of your final payment, you will receive the full delivery of the project.

If your project requires a tutorial for hand-off, you will be contacted to schedule it.
